| 1984 | Born in October 26th, in Ankara, as a son to Emrehan Halıcı and Uğur Halıcı, assuming the name of Eren Şems Halıcı. |

| 2002 | Graduated from Gazi Anadolu Lisesi and was admitted to the Mechanical Engineering Department of the Middle East Technical University. |
| 2003 | Changed his department to the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of the same university. |
| 2003 | Met Elif Vural. |
| 2006 | After graduating from electrical engineering, started post graduate studies at the same department. |
| 2008 | Completed his M.S. thesis under the supervision of A. Aydın Alatan. |
